(Fall 2015 - Present)
When I moved to Los Angeles in August 2015, the first thing I bought was a classic recliner. Seeing it sitting in my living room was so inspiring that I started making tables to compliment it basically the day it was delivered. I went out to Home Depot, bought a MIG welder, some steel tube, and got to work. My first piece was a bit rough construction-wise and I used a random piece of wood left over from the new cabinets that were put into my kitchen right before I moved in. Ended up looking pretty good next to the chair though.
And thus my obsession began. I stepped up my wood game and bought $200 worth of this gorgeous walnut and another $75 worth of steel tube and started churning out tables as fast as I could. I built a couple more tables for my living room, kitchen, and a giant desk for my bedroom.
I ditched the steel/wood look and went with wood/glass for my coffee table.
